Challenge

When curating the very first logo for ST Customs I was faced with a couple of challenges. My client wanted a logo that could be used not only to represent the company, but a logo that could be used for business cards, watermarks, and eventually on clothing. With that aspect in mind I knew I needed a technical design with an overall clean look.

INSPIRATION

My inspiration for the logo derived from a computers motherboard. The electrical pathways or conductors make up a complex yet, clean and intriguing layout that drew my attention. With this idea in mind, I wanted to pay homage and incorporate the complexity but still have a clean end result.

Final Designs

Initially, I thought that my final design would resemble a computers motherboard. After many iterations, my design started to develop from electrical pathways, to something more refined. I feel that the complexity I originally wanted is still present by intertwining the letters S and T, but is still identifiable.
